Ref:  Region VII Election Results

Please join us in congratulating Karen Henry from Boise State University and Kate Green from the University of New Mexico who were elected by the membership to serve our Region.  Karen was elected to the position of Member-at-Large and Kate was elected as the Secretary/Treasurer.  The terms for each position is two years and are effective on January 1, 2008.

Thanks go to candidates who were nominated for office: Tracey Castaneda, Colorado State University; Christine Pacheco, University of New Mexico; Bill Ernest, University of Utah for accepting nominations and running for office and to those who participated in the nomination process.

The proposed changes to the by-laws to more closely align our structure with that of other Regions and the National Organization by adding a Chair Elect Position to the slate of officers and clarifying the responsibilities of officers was approved by a margin of 93%.

A very special note of appreciation is due Mytra Stager and Tara Bishop who coordinated the election process out of the NCURA National Office and to Brian Christian who takes care of the website for us.
